    Job Description

    The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager to join our team. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving commercial motor vehicle safety, the CVSA values strong relationships with our stakeholders and industry partners. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.

    As an Account Manager at CVSA, you will collaborate with our internal team, commercial motor vehicle safety officials, and industry representatives to understand our customers’ needs and goals. You will proactively engage with key accounts, maintaining regular communication, and providing exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.

    At CVSA, we believe that collaboration between government and industry is vital to improving road safety. As an Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and driving their success in implementing commercial motor vehicle safety initiatives.


    • Manage and maintain relationships with key accounts, serving as their primary point of contact.
    • Understand each customer’s goals, objectives, and challenges.
    • Proactively engage with key accounts to ensure their satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of products and services.
    • Prepare and deliver regular account reviews and reports on customer success metrics.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
    • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate new business leads.


    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the technology or transportation industry.
    • Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and effectively communicate technical concepts.
    • Experience with CRM software and sales tools.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
    • Knowledge of the commercial motor vehicle industry and relevant regulations is a plus.
