    We are seeking a dynamic Associate Vice President for Global Charter, Incentive, and Series Partnerships. This pivotal role will spearhead our sales strategies, cultivate partnerships, and drive initiatives related to full-ship charters, incentive group sales, and series group production for both Holland America Line and Seabourn. You will play an instrumental part in enhancing revenue generation, negotiating agreements, and crafting compelling marketing and promotional strategies while guaranteeing the successful execution of tailored programs. In this position, fostering strong relationships with charterers and group partners is crucial, along with representing our company at various industry conferences. Additionally, you will mentor a talented sales team and promote a culture of excellence within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Business Development: Forge robust relationships with charter partners, negotiate agreements, oversee contract reviews, and manage marketing initiatives associated with charters and incentive groups.
    • Execution Excellence: Lead and mentor a dedicated team to craft bespoke charter experiences, handle intricate requests, and ensure that all implementations align with our company’s objectives.
    • Financial Accountability: Generate and sustain revenue from non-retail channels, maintain budgetary oversight, and guarantee adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
    • Team Management: Inspire and develop team members, collaborate effectively with onboard teams, and foster a positive and motivating workplace environment.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 15 years of cruise sales experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles within the Charters & Incentives sector.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Exceptional partnership-building skills, decisive negotiation capabilities, and strong decision-making acumen.
    • Analytical abilities to evaluate revenue and cost metrics, along with outstanding communication and leadership skills.
    • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time, including onboard travel.

    This position is fully remote within the United States. Note: This opportunity is not available in AR, CT, DE, HI, IA, KY, LA, ME, MT, MS, ND, NE, NH, OK, SD, VT, WV, WI, WY.
