    Associate Director Clinical Data Management – Permanent – Remote

    Proclinical Staffing is seeking an Associate Director Clinical Data Management to join an innovative biotech company. This is a permanent role with the opportunity to work remotely.

    Primary Responsibilities

    We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Clinical Data Management who will play a crucial role in providing expertise and leadership in data management for clinical studies within their assigned portfolio or platform program(s). In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of clinical trials and ensuring high-quality data management deliverables, while also managing and developing the Clinical Data Management Teams.

    Skills & Requirements:

    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Clinical Data Management, including extensive experience in overseeing DM activities as a Lead and DM project management.
    • Profound knowledge of international guidelines (ICH-GCP) for the conduct of clinical research projects.
    • Demonstrated experience with Clinical Database Systems and processes.
    • Strong background in resource planning to efficiently manage personnel and project timelines.
    • Academic degree in natural/life sciences or a related field is preferred, or previous experience in a Clinical Data Management position within a CRO/biotechnology/pharmaceutical company.

    The Associate Director Clinical Data Management will:

    • Lead the Clinical Data Management Teams, ensuring effective team collaboration and communication.
    • Organize and facilitate team meetings to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
    • Identify high-performance team members and contribute to their development through mentoring and training.
    • Collaborate with the (Senior) Director of Clinical Data Management to support team development initiatives.
    • Provide guidance and oversight to project teams regarding the supervision of CRO/third-party vendors, including organizing necessary trainings.
    • Act as a mentor for new team members, providing continuous feedback to foster their professional growth.
    • Contribute to the development and review of portfolio documents, such as contracts, guidelines, budgets, metrics, and KPIs.
    • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), applicable regulatory guidelines, SOPs, policies, and available CDM guidance documents.
    • Utilize your experience in resource planning to effectively allocate personnel and optimize team productivity.
    • Apply your in-depth knowledge of international guidelines (ICH-GCP) for the conduct of clinical research projects and expertise in Clinical Database Systems and processes.
    • Utilize your background in natural/life sciences or a related field (university degree) or previous experience in a CRO/biotechnology/pharmaceutical company in a Clinical Data Management position.
