    What you’ll be doing

    The Associate Director of Patient, (Advanced Practice Providers) APP and Digital Marketing will lead and execute the development of APP and patient promotions for Nuvation Bio’s commercial products and will also play a critical role in launching the first commercial drug for the organization. The Associate Director of APP and Patient Marketing will play a strategic and cohesive role within the Commercial Marketing team and will be responsible for developing, managing, and driving robust marketing programs to support and expand branding/awareness. In addition, the AD will own the development of key derivative HCP digital tactics across oncologist, patient and APP audiences. This individual will focus on the strategic tactical plan for the APP and patient audiences and will be responsible for the specific actions and tactics to achieve the overall brand goals. This position will report directly into the Exec. Director, Brand Marketing.

    You will be responsible for

    • Lead and execute the nurse, pharmacist, and patient promotional launch plan and tactics

    • Plan and implement campaigns which integrate all appropriate marketing tactics, including new innovative channels that augment traditional marketing tactics

    • Partner with Brand Leadership, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Insights and Analytics, Legal, and Regulatory to ensure integrated strategy development and seamless market execution

    • Identify and turn brand insights into actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the business

    • Support key business functions across the business (e.g. HCP and patient campaign pull-through, patient experience, etc)

    • Partner with sales training to create the execution of action plans for Sales force aligned activities

    • Collaborate and strategize with Commercial teams to ensure alignment and develop regionally relevant, robust marketing and promotional programs

    • Oversee and manage upstream creative agencies

    • Partner with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory on the promotional review committee

    • Manage and approve expenditures within budget guidelines

    • Scope and incorporate appropriate voice of customer research and insights into marketing material development and decision-making process

    • Establish metrics and track program effectiveness and ROI

    What Knowledge & Experience you’ll bring to us

    • Bachelors Degree required in related field or equivalent experience

    • 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience in US or global marketing

    • 6+ years Brand Management experience, patient experience preferred

    • US marketing experience in oncology, lung experience preferred

    • Recent launch experience required

    • Exhibit high capability of working collaboratively, thinking strategically

    • Proven experience managing complex marketing operations processes (Promotional Material Review, Brand Planning, Market Research, CRM Management etc.)

    • Deep understanding of marketing campaign management, day-to-day execution, measurement and tracking

    • Strong understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principles

    • Possess the ability and desire to measure and track performance and success of programs/initiatives

    • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Experience in managing external agencies and vendors and managing budgets

    • Proven successful project management skills; strict attention to detail

    • Drive and enthusiasm for operational improvements

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload independently

    • Team-focused mentality

    • Ability to travel to Nuvation Bio’s corporate offices as needed

    The pay range for this position is $160,000.00 to $185,000.00 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
