Location: Remote, with travel across the UK and EU
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 Base Salary with OTE

Sales Manager Responsibilities:
In this critical role, you will own the entire sales cycle—from grasping complex functional and technical requirements to presenting impactful solutions, providing expert consultation, and ensuring top-notch support and training.
Your Focus Will Be Twofold:
1. Drive your own leads while converting marketing-generated prospects into enduring partnerships through strategic engagement and execution.
2. Expand our footprint with existing clients, leveraging your network and relationship-building skills to uncover new opportunities and enhance our regional presence.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:
As a trusted advisor, you will take a consultative sales approach, highlighting Ignite’s business value rather than merely product features. You’ll collaborate closely with prospects, stakeholders, and account managers to design compelling solutions.
Your responsibilities will include driving the sale of software licenses and associated services, overseeing proposal accuracy in collaboration with service teams, monitoring delivery progress, and stepping in with clients as needed while ensuring compliance and legal standards are met.
Expect to create impactful tender responses and RFPs, travel across the UK and Europe, and maintain strong connections with the broader Ignite sales team to share insights, advocate for our offerings, and identify new leads.
Your Qualifications:
– Solid sales background, specifically in closing software license agreements and service solutions with enterprise customers.
– Experience within a smaller, fast-growing business context.
– Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets.
– Ability to engage effectively at the Enterprise/C-Suite level.
– Proven track record of closing multi-million-pound deals.
– Familiarity with sales methodologies, such as MEDDPICC.
– Experience working in multiple territories.
– Proficient in IT software, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales tools like Sales Navigator.
– Fluent in English; proficiency in additional Northern European languages is a plus.
– Exceptional organizational skills, proactive approach, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
– Strong relationship-building expertise.
– Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
