    As a vital member of our Legal Assistant Department, you will have the chance to nurture meaningful relationships and assist clients throughout the claims process via phone and computer in a call center setting. Enjoy the benefits of a full-time schedule (Monday through Friday) with no nights or weekends. Candidates must reside in Texas.

    Key Responsibilities of the Client Service Specialist:

    • Handle approximately 50-75 inbound calls daily in a professional call center setting.
    • Foster client relationships by ensuring consistent communication and confidence in our firm.
    • Retain clients through exceptional service while maintaining a quality score of 90% or higher on calls.
    • Recall and apply knowledge of Social Security Administration policies and our internal processes.
    • Address and resolve client concerns while ensuring confidentiality.
    • Maintain detailed records and documentation of client interactions using a paperless database system.
    • Use sound judgment to escalate urgent issues to management as necessary.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Fluent in both Spanish and English (verbal and written).
    • High school diploma required; a degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Prior customer service and call center experience.
    • Proficient typing skills with a minimum speed of 40 WPM.
    • Comfort and proficiency with computer technology, including Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software.
    • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
    • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with superb communication and active listening abilities.
    • Reliability and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
    • A proactive and positive attitude with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
    • Prior experience in a work-from-home setting is preferred.
    • Background in Social Security Disability Law, or similar medical experience, is highly desirable, including previous roles at DDS, ODAR, or SSA.
    • Relevant legal experience such as Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Paralegal is a plus.

    Minimum Requirements for Your Home Office:

    • A personal computer running an up-to-date version of Windows 11 (no Chromebooks, Macs, tablets, or iPads).
    • At least 4GB of RAM (8GB preferred) and a minimum of 128GB hard drive space.
    • Antivirus protection must be installed.
    • A camera (internal or external).
    • A reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 50MBPS download and 10MBPS upload speeds, connected via wired Ethernet.
    • A landline telephone or strong cell service available.
    • A quiet, distraction-free home office environment during working hours.
    • Candidates must reside in Texas, with preferred locations including San Antonio, Dallas, or Austin.
