As a Client Service Specialist in our Legal Assistant Department, you will:
- Engage in approximately 50-75 calls daily within a call center setting, providing invaluable support to clients throughout their claims process.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring they feel valued and confident in our services.
- Focus on client retention while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Maintain a quality assurance score of 90% or higher during calls.
- Retain knowledge of Social Security Administration (SSA) policies and our company’s processes to assist clients effectively.
- Address and resolve client concerns while ensuring confidentiality.
- Document client interactions, complaints, and concerns meticulously in our paperless database.
- Handle client complaints with professionalism and empathy, including those from upset customers.
- Use judgment to identify and escalate urgent issues to management or directors when necessary.
To excel as a Client Service Specialist, you will need:
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- High School Diploma; a degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience.
- Experience in customer service and call center settings.
- A typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Capability to meet performance standards, whether working in the office or remotely.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and adaptability to new programs.
- Strong multitasking abilities and capability to work under pressure.
- Self-discipline and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent communication, active listening, spelling, and grammar skills.
- Reliability and dependability with a focus on client confidentiality.
- Competence in problem analysis and problem-solving.
- High energy, a positive attitude, and professional demeanor.
- Effective time management and organization skills.
- Motivated and self-sufficient with the ability to work independently.
- Open to challenges and new ideas, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Experience working from home is preferred, along with a background in Social Security Disability Law or medical fields (e.g., former DDS, ODAR, and SSA employees).
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Paralegal, or in related legal roles is a plus.
Minimum Equipment Requirements for Remote Work:
- A computer running the latest version of Windows 11 (no Chromebooks, Macs, tablets, or iPads).
- A minimum of 4GB RAM (8GB preferred) and at least 128GB of hard drive space.
- Up-to-date antivirus protection installed.
- A webcam (internal or external).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
- Wired Ethernet connection in your home office.
- A landline phone or a strong cell phone signal in your home office.
- A quiet and distraction-free home office environment during work hours.
- Candidates must reside in Texas, with preference given to those in San Antonio, Dallas, or Austin.
