    Your Daily Journey:

    In the role of Territory Manager at CVRx, you will be instrumental in advancing market strategies while providing essential technical support to ensure the successful application of CVRx technologies in therapeutic settings. This dynamic position offers a mix of strategic oversight, educational initiatives, and direct clinical engagement. Your ability to showcase professional presentation skills, product expertise, and adept negotiation techniques will be vital in achieving and surpassing sales goals.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Craft and implement strategies aimed at meeting patient implant and revenue objectives through resource development and engagement.
    • Execute strategies effectively to achieve established goals within your territory.
    • Exhibit advanced proficiency with Salesforce, leveraging dashboards, forecasting, and commercial applications while mentoring others in their use.
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the complex physiological and technical aspects related to CVRx technologies and therapies.
    • Assist during implant procedures and follow-up visits, providing troubleshooting and technical support to healthcare providers and CVRx teams.
    • Address technical inquiries and conduct thorough research to resolve issues.
    • Act as a representative of CVRx devices, educating leading cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons on clinical therapy applications.
    • Offer on-call clinical support as needed, engaging in education and training sessions with physicians and hospital staff regarding CVRx devices and studies.
    • Contribute to R&D by soliciting and providing customer feedback for product enhancements and development projects.
    • Adhere to sales management processes and employ reporting tools to ensure the disciplined execution of the commercial strategy in your assigned region, maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
    • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health sciences, engineering, business, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
    • 7-10 years of experience within the medical device industry, including clinical, academic, and business development roles related to implantable devices.
    • Prior experience with cardiology and heart failure therapeutic devices or related sales is essential.
    • Strong grasp of medical and surgical concepts and active implantable medical device technology, combined with a strategic mindset.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of competitive devices, strategies, and market dynamics in relation to our offerings.
    • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key customers and CVRx staff.
    • Proven presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities and respect from peers.
    • Adept at forecasting performance and achievement of goals.
    • Independent, self-motivated, self-starter mentality.
    • Resilience and persistence in overcoming challenges.
    • Long-term strategic focus on relationship-based sales.
    • Patient-centric approach, with understanding of insurance authorization challenges.
    • Willingness to travel up to 75% annually, including some overnight travel.
    • Access to reliable transportation and valid ID for domestic air travel.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced degrees are a plus.
    • Experience in healthcare or a related field is beneficial.
    • Proven track record in building and leading field sales teams.
    • Successful background in clinical roles or with CVRx’s commercial organization.
    • Ability to interface with R&D to advocate for customer insights on product improvements and innovations.

    Working Environment:

    • Standard remote office setup.
    • Frequent collaboration with internal teams and healthcare professionals.
    • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
    • Willingness to travel 60-75% of the time.
    • Compliance with Covid-19 vaccination requirements and any relevant credentialing requirements.

    The approximate salary range for this role in the U.S. is $100,000 per year. This range is compliant with federal and local regulations and may vary based on experience, qualifications, market conditions, and specific location.

    In addition to a competitive base salary, this position qualifies for a Variable Incentive Plan (VIP) that offers uncapped compensation opportunities based on achieving or exceeding performance objectives.
