Job Description

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to create tailored treatment plans for individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions that effectively address challenging behaviors while fostering essential skill development.
  • Providing ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to promote consistency and transfer of skills across different environments.
  • Monitoring client progress meticulously and using data to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Keeping detailed and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment objectives.

To be a successful candidate, you should possess:

  • A solid background in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
  • Proficient knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
  • An understanding of medical terminology related to autism and behavioral health.
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting assessment results.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently.

Qualifications required:

  • Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • At least one year of experience working with children who have autism or related developmental disabilities.
  • A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a closely related field.
