Explore an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Maryland, conveniently located just an hour south of Washington D.C. This role is available from July to December, offering a flexible schedule where you can choose to work between 1 to 4 weeks per month or commit to 3 to 5 days each week, with shifts running Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. As a key player in this role, you’ll be managing a diverse array of patients, with daily volumes expected to include:

• 17 screening procedures
• 10 diagnostic exams
• 10 sono diagnostics
• 4 weekly MRI breast scans
• 4 stereotactic breast biopsies on-site
• 8 sono core biopsies on-site
• 2 MRI biopsies on-site

Your expertise in performing essential procedures is crucial as you’ll be required to conduct ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies on-site.

This position focuses on breast imaging within a well-equipped hospital featuring 103 beds and no trauma services. You will benefit from full subspecialty support from within the radiology group, along with comprehensive resources from the broader health system.
