    This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for within the States of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Employees located within 50 miles of a BHN office will be considered a “Hybrid” employee and are required to come into the office 2 days per week based on office schedule.


    What you need to know about the role – The Blackhawk Incentives and disbursements business is the largest and fastest growing segment of our business, and we are looking for an individual contributor to build upon that success. In this exciting role you will be responsible for working within certain strategic vertical markets as an established sales individual contributor, focused on incentives and disbursements and prospecting to acquire new accounts, build strategic relationships with key client leaders, drive pipeline activity and increase revenues with new business opportunities for Blackhawk Network. Your success in this role will be based on your quota attainment and incremental inorganic growth. To achieve growth targets, we need this individual to work closely with the platform product team, content product team, marketing, and Operations team to provide input on improving our current disbursement solution, identify the next verticals and product builds to support and establish the business case for necessary investments.

    Your way to impact – You are an established Hunter with at least 6 years B2B sales experience in the Incentives or fintech industry. You can implement a hunter’s mentality within your assignment, so you are uncovering opportunities through research, networking, and driving portfolio growth and expansion. You have prior experience in a sales role selling complex enterprise incentive or financial service, preferably in the payments industry. You will have the ability to clearly articulate the BHN Incentive and disbursements value proposition to prospective customers.

    Additionally, you will be able to grow the portfolio by expanding the BHN vertical market footprint within incentives and disbursements inclusive of product builds/enhancements to support these verticals. To expand the vertical footprint, you will be critical beyond sales execution. Blackhawk is a collaborative work environment so patterning with the different business leaders upfront to identify requirements and solutions to gain a footprint in new high growth verticals will be critical to our success. We will be looking to you as a subject matter expert in these areas helping our product team leads to design flows, showing our content teams, legal and compliance use case cases and providing our operations teams input on necessary support.


    In your day to day role you will:

    • New business growth. Targeting new “logos” and selling strategic programs. Provide partnership to new clients to develop market-leading solutions.
    • Lead generation
    • Implementing a sales process
    • Pipeline management through CRM usage
    • Building strategic relationships with key leaders in enterprise client’s organizations
    • Creating or revising the BHN value proposition in disbursements and communicating that internally
    • Completing customer discovery, identifying key value drivers, and identifying the correct product offering to pitch
    • For larger opportunities co -leading and co- managing the sales process including developing the sale, negotiating contract terms, and closing the deal
    • Meeting regularly with Product technology to define flows, needed capabilities and new disbursement products
    • Working with our content product team, our bank and card brands to deliver new content and new features.
    • Working with marketing and lead generation to define messaging the marketing plan
    • Working with Compliance, risk and legal to ensure alignment with product builds
    • Reporting progress on all aspects to senior leadership


    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Experience working for Fortune 1000 or marketing services company/agency targeting Fortune 1000 companies
    • Industry experience one or more of the following industries a plus: pharmaceuticals/healthcare, automotive, consumer electronics, retail, or telecommunications
    • Successful and proven sales track record selling to Enterprise level clients
    • Min 8+ years of sales ‘hunter’ experience selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial service in the payments industry.
    • Success in prospecting, building, and managing large sales pipeline.
    • Acute business acumen, familiar with Payment ecosystem, ability to understand emerging technologies and products and the company’s strategies to address them
    • Key stakeholders, decision makers engagements and management. Advocates, build trust and credibility quickly with new stakeholders
    • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, Teams, and Power BI
    • Ability to travel as needed to attend internal and external meetings


    Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $89,980.00 to $117,000.00Salary Range for California Residents Only: $112,290.00 to $146,000.00
