In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing, supporting, and maintaining essential applications. You will be responsible for coordinating the analysis and development of new functionalities while building, testing, and implementing updates and maintenance changes. Your role will also involve reviewing scheduled vendor releases and overseeing system upgrades. You’ll analyze, diagnose, and implement system and process changes, ensuring compliance with change management procedures. As a subject matter expert (SME) on application projects, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system functionalities and configure new tools. Documenting current and future state workflows, you will also create and maintain test scripts and execute testing plans for supported applications. Meeting project deadlines is essential, and your commitment to excellence will drive you to go the extra mile. In addition, you will troubleshoot complex problems across integrated systems, designing, building, executing, and maintaining integration test scripts and user acceptance test plans.
Candidates should possess a solid background, with 6-10 years of experience in relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical fields. For those with a proven track record who have 5-7 years of pertinent experience, we are open to considering qualifications even without a degree. We are particularly interested in applicants with Beacon certification and strong expertise in oncology workflows. Additional certifications, such as Willow or Ambulatory, along with knowledge of security workflows, will be considered valuable assets.
While a bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology/Systems, or Healthcare is preferred, we are willing to consider 5-7 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
Preferred certifications include RN, PT, OT, MA, or LPN, highlighting previous healthcare experience in a hospital, medical practice, or health system. If applicable, candidates must obtain specific application certifications within 90 days of hire.
