About Our Client
One Small Thing is on the forefront of change, dedicated to creating a justice system that meets the needs of women and children impacted by trauma. With an ambitious vision, they have established a residential community called Hope Street, alongside providing vital trauma-informed and gender-sensitive programs in both the justice and community sectors. Driven by a startup’s enthusiasm and a passionate team, the charity is currently generating £3 million in income and is poised for significant growth. This position offers remarkable flexibility, with the option to work from home or from their London office.

Role Overview
As the new CFO of One Small Thing, you will play a crucial role in executing an inspiring growth strategy for the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO and the board, you will oversee critical areas including finance, operations, risk management, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of finance, operations, governance, and risk for the charity.
  • Drive organizational growth by identifying new revenue opportunities and expanding the Hope Street initiative nationwide.
  • Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the charity.

Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional who has previously led finance and operations within a small to medium-sized charity. The successful candidate will have a proven record of developing and implementing financial strategies. Exceptional communication skills, collaborative leadership style, and a shared commitment to fostering change and growth are essential.
