We are on the lookout for a proficient and detail-oriented Microsoft Dynamics NAV BC Developer to join our Ingenica Team, collaborating closely with the Technical Development Manager and the entire development group.

This position reports directly to the Development Manager and the Technical Product Lead, ensuring effective technical design, development, and deployment of Ingenica’s solutions based on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central platform. You will also be involved in upgrading applications from Dynamics NAV to the latest Business Central versions.

What Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

You’ll be instrumental in supporting and developing our C/AL applications—handling development-related support requests, engaging closely with stakeholders to clarify specifications, and facilitating seamless transitions. Your comprehensive knowledge of our systems and architecture will aid in devising intelligent solutions for new healthcare-focused initiatives.

Being actively involved in the full development lifecycle, you will write high-quality code, create detailed technical documentation, estimate efforts for project planning, and maintain quality through peer reviews. Whether working internally or with external partners, you’ll adhere to Microsoft and Ingenica coding standards.

Additionally, you will assist with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central, overseeing the complete preparation and release of software updates.

Your Skills & Experience Include:

NAV/BC Development & Upgrades:
• Proven track record in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV 2016+) development, with experience in upgrading custom solutions and migrating from C/AL to AL.
• Strong technical knowledge of C/SIDE, C/AL, and AL programming.
• Ability to create custom functionalities using AL extensions.

Technical & Functional Skills:
• Expertise in converting functional requirements into precise technical specifications.
• Strong documentation abilities for technical specifications and custom development requirements.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, XML, APIs, and other object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Java).

Tooling & Standards:
• Experience with DevOps, GitHub, and automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards and integrated management systems.

Consultancy & Mentoring:
• Experience in consulting for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC implementations.
• Knowledge of third-party NAV/BC tools such as Tasklet Mobile WMS, Continia, and Zetadocs.
• A confident collaborator within teams.

Professional Qualities:
• Commercially astute with a robust understanding of business needs.
• Holds a degree in Computer Science or possesses equivalent professional experience.
