    Position Overview

    CoxHealth is on the lookout for an innovative, analytics-driven Senior Digital Marketing Strategist who will spearhead the enhancement of our web content strategy. This pivotal role will involve the planning, development, and optimization of website content as well as digital experiences that align with crucial business objectives while promoting patient engagement.

    The perfect candidate will blend creativity with analytical expertise to oversee sophisticated web projects, mentor junior digital team members, and work collaboratively across various departments, including IT, Corporate Communications, Consumer Experience, and marketing initiatives. This position necessitates extensive knowledge of SEO, web content architecture, user experience design, and compliance standards such as HIPAA.

    A central mission of this role is to elevate the user experience throughout CoxHealth’s digital touchpoints—from delivering personalized content and ensuring intuitive site navigation to maintaining mobile responsiveness and accessibility. The strategist will champion efforts to produce content that is not only relevant and engaging but structured to facilitate seamless, patient-centered online journeys.

    From demystifying complex clinical subjects into patient-friendly web copy to optimizing site performance, this strategist will guarantee that CoxHealth’s website stands as a reliable, efficient digital resource. A strong grasp of healthcare consumer dynamics, search behavior, and emerging digital tools is indispensable.

    Key Responsibilities

    Digital Content Strategy & Execution

    • Employs expert knowledge to craft and implement patient-centric digital content strategies. Skillfully turns intricate healthcare information into accessible, engaging content while aligning with brand guidelines and organizational objectives.

    User Experience & Web Optimization

    • Champions the ongoing enhancement of the digital patient experience through data-driven refinements in web content, structure, personalization, and usability. Maintains a strong understanding of SEO, digital analytics, and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

    • Cultivates strong partnerships with varied departments such as Corporate Communications, Consumer Experience, IT, HR, and Creative, ensuring that digital initiatives align with organizational goals, support recruitment efforts, and enhance brand storytelling.

    Digital Campaign & Vendor Management

    • Oversees external agency collaborations to guarantee that campaigns and web strategies are integrated, measurable, and optimized for peak performance and ROI. Identifies areas for innovation and efficiency through strategic vendor relationships.

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Provides guidance, constructive feedback, and support to junior digital team members. Promotes a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement to elevate team performance.

    Project & Workflow Management

    • Effectively directs complex projects and digital initiatives utilizing management tools like Asana to ensure clarity, efficiency, and transparency. Develops and maintains systems that facilitate timely, budget-conscious, and brand-aligned execution.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

    Experience

    • Required: Minimum of 1 year in digital marketing, demonstrating success in designing and executing multi-channel campaigns.
    • Preferred: Experience within agency settings or the healthcare industry.

    Skills

    • Proficient in Asana (or similar project management software), with the capability to create workflows, templates, and performance dashboards.
    • Experience in managing paid media initiatives and enhancing website content for digital success.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills adept at simplifying complex subjects for diverse audiences.
    • Strong project management capabilities with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and stakeholders.
