    Job Summary

    We are looking for a talented data analyst who can enhance our healthcare models through meticulous data evaluation and error analysis. You’ll be instrumental in cleansing and validating data to ensure uniformity and precision. Your role will involve assessing healthcare utilization and cost containment, crafting insightful reports, and presenting findings to drive informed recommendations. Engage in systematic data science and statistical experiments that address real-world challenges across diverse healthcare sectors, making a tangible difference.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead strategic analysis and planning for Health Plans, ensuring cohesive collaboration across various business units to meet data analysis objectives.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
    • Identify and prioritize departmental initiatives that align with operating plans, budgets, and regulatory standards. Conduct in-depth analyses of health plans, generating actionable insights to enhance revenue performance and support enterprise goals.
    • Monitor Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace growth opportunities, adapting to new policies that impact member care and provider payments. Create analytical frameworks to support business cases and collaborate with management to bridge process gaps.
    • Work in partnership with health plans to devise Payment Integrity campaigns, assess performance, and formulate actionable recommendations to boost effectiveness for future initiatives.
    • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to diverse audiences, managing project delivery effectively within the analytics team.
    • Adapt to evolving business needs by identifying data solutions and leveraging technology to enhance payment integrity strategies.
    • Utilize advanced statistical and computational methods to unveil actionable insights, improving quality, consumer experience, and cost-efficiency in healthcare.
    • Design scalable and automated processes for extensive data analysis, model creation, validation, and implementation.
    • Innovate algorithms and models to mine extensive data repositories, enhancing error analysis and ensuring data quality.
    • Develop unique methods for exploring and analyzing large multidimensional datasets.
    • Apply systematic experimentation in data science and statistical analysis to tackle a variety of healthcare challenges effectively.
    • Analyze extensive data sets for trends and patterns, interpreting results with focused objectives.
    • Employ a variety of tools and techniques to draw insights from the latest industry trends.
    • Utilize technical tools and programming languages such as Hadoop, Power BI, R, Python, SQL, Impala SQL, Toad Automation scripts, Apache Superset, and specialized Python packages for healthcare and data science.
    • Implement Python packages for patient-centered population predictions and identifying provider-specific activity outliers.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 years leading healthcare analytics functions.
    • At least 7 years of work experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
    • Proficient in tools such as Hadoop, Power BI, R, Python, SQL, Impala SQL, Toad Automation scripts, Apache Superset, and healthcare-focused Python packages.
    • Solid understanding of relational database concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
    • Exhibit strong critical thinking skills with the ability to transform unstructured challenges into structured solutions.

    Physical Requirements:

    The work environment is generally office-based with adequate lighting and temperature control, involving minimal exposure to unpleasant conditions.     Compensation Range: $129,504 – $303,040 / ANNUAL
