As the strategic Head of Sales, you will be at the forefront of driving our sales initiatives, crafting robust strategies, and building a top-tier team across various markets. Your Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Spearhead rooms division sales efforts, enhancing engagement and implementing proactive retention strategies. Utilize performance metrics to monitor and report on team outcomes.
- Strategy & Planning: Set the vision and direction for sales, overseeing strategy creation, budgeting, and workforce planning. Manage objectives and key results (OKRs) with distinct milestones and timelines.
- Team Leadership & Development: Cultivate a culture of growth by mentoring and coaching your team while ensuring key performance indicators are met. Play an active role in recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Communication & Collaboration: Motivate and align your team by effectively communicating the strategy and vision. Serve as a trusted advisor to team leaders, fostering cross-department collaboration to address complex challenges.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage your extensive knowledge of the industry and related sectors to guide sales teams in achieving success.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of demonstrable success leading a high-achieving sales or commercial team in the hotel or lodging sector.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with a talent for deciphering data and market trends.
- Experience with CRM software and a track record in implementing and rolling out new technological tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and results-oriented, capable of thriving both independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in English, plus at least one local language at a professional level.
Desirable Extras:
- Experience working with both major hotel chains and boutique brands to enhance market awareness.
- Experience in managing and motivating remote teams across diverse cultural landscapes.
