    Join our dynamic team as a leader in the Large Group Commercial segment at Geisinger Health Plan, where you will manage the new business sales process from the comfort of your home in Pennsylvania. This full-time role, based in Danville, offers an exciting opportunity to shape the sales trajectory and align efforts with our organizational goals.

    In this pivotal position, you will oversee the daily functions of the Large Group sales team, driving productivity and fostering growth through effective management strategies. Your responsibilities will include developing and positioning our Large Group products competitively, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives, and enhancing the overall sales experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Propel membership growth in the Large Group segment by implementing effective sales management techniques.
    • Lead and mentor the sales department team, ensuring timely execution of strategic plans.
    • Adapt departmental strategies in response to market changes and fluctuations.
    • Recruit and onboard new sales representatives, providing comprehensive training for success.
    • Evaluate and enhance the performance of sales representatives, addressing achievements and areas for improvement.
    • Support representatives by delivering exceptional customer service and support to prospective clients.
    • Cultivate and maintain business and community relationships to promote our Health Plan effectively.
    • Collaborate with various health plan departments to execute sales strategies and resolve issues related to policies and procedures.
    • Maintain the integrity of the sales database and oversee lead generation activities, ensuring timely completion of broker quotes.
    • Assist in presentations to employer group decision-makers and negotiate contracts.
    • Calculate and oversee incentive compensation summaries for the sales team.
    • Collaborate with external agents and brokers to elevate their marketing and enrollment strategies.
    • Guide the sales internship program and develop comprehensive sales training initiatives.
    • Partner with leadership and Product Management to coin and implement innovative products that appeal to large group clients.

    Work Environment:

    You will typically work in a home office setup, following organizational policies and fulfilling specific job responsibilities. The role requires a reliable high-speed internet connection, with specific bandwidth requirements to ensure seamless communication and productivity.

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Health Insurance/Managed Care and Sales is necessary.
    • A valid Health Insurance License is mandatory.
