To support our rapid expansion, we are seeking to enhance our relationships with retailers and optimize our execution in stores through collaboration with brokers, distributors, and merchandisers.

    In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of expanding and managing retail partnerships, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring that our products are effectively represented in grocery chains. Your efforts will be pivotal in marketing all of Our Home’s products to drive sales and brand awareness.

    We are looking for a proactive and collaborative individual with stellar organization and communication skills. You should be driven to promote and grow a new brand within a fresh territory.

    Key Responsibilities

    Account Management

    • Collaborate with the VP East to identify and strategize for major retail accounts.
    • Cultivate and maintain outstanding relationships with your assigned retailers.
    • Oversee grocery distributors, brokers, merchandisers, and the DSD network to support natural and conventional independents.
    • Showcase the brand and introduce new products to achieve set revenue and trade goals.
    • Design promotional programs that encourage off-shelf commitments to boost sales.
    • Ensure effective execution of product launches, manage shelf presence, and coordinate pricing and promotions.

    Retail Execution

    • Forge robust relationships with merchandising teams, brokers, and retail partners, including the DSD network.
    • Conduct store visits and audits to reinforce brand presence and build connections in the marketplace.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with brokers and partners to assess brand visibility and address distribution challenges.
    • Utilize internal insights to enhance Our Home’s presence on the shelves.
    • Relay valuable field insights to sales, marketing, and merchandising teams, along with other necessary cross-functional departments.
    • Use and optimize merchandising CRM systems to track and meet retail execution objectives.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work alongside the VP for your region to coordinate strategies and seize growth opportunities.
    • Partner with the Finance and Revenue Management teams to comprehend trade budgets and reach financial targets.
    • Collaborate with Sales Operations to analyze market data and prepare presentations for retailer meetings.
    • Team up with the Marketing department to plan demos, events, and industry engagements.
    • Actively participate in trade and customer shows to boost brand visibility.
    • Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships with customers and Our Home employees.

    Qualifications

    • A positive mindset and eagerness to learn, combined with a passion for expanding our brand.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in retail sales, account management, or merchandising, particularly in the grocery sector.
    • A solid understanding and enthusiasm for natural and non-GMO food products.
    • Excellent communication skills for engaging with external clients, colleagues, and internal support teams.
    • Must have a home office setup, allowing for independent remote work.
    • A demonstrated commitment to integrity in personal and professional interactions.
    • Desired: Established relationships with local retailers.
    • Ability to travel weekly for customer meetings, DSD support, and retail initiatives, with occasional weekend commitments for special events.
    • Must reside in the designated territory and have access to a vehicle.
