About Propel America
At Propel America, we are dedicated to transforming the inequitable landscape of education and workforce systems in the United States. Too often, individuals from marginalized communities face barriers to fulfilling careers due to outdated practices in workforce education, crippling college costs, and a lack of direct pathways to meaningful employment. These systemic issues prevent many from achieving their career aspirations or gaining access to better job opportunities.
We’re on a mission to rewrite this narrative. Our model, Jobs-First Higher Education, is designed to empower high school graduates, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, by providing a streamlined, affordable pathway to fulfilling careers without the burden of overwhelming student debt. At Propel, we partner with prominent employers to ensure our training programs are aligned with real-world job needs.
We engage with young adults aged 18-26 through a cutting-edge, tech-enhanced career accelerator, complete with personalized coaching, career exploration, and a supportive community to help them thrive in their job pursuits and plan for ongoing education.
