Your Mission

• In your role as a Senior Backend Developer within our Product team, you will take charge of developing new features and designing robust endpoints. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from collecting requirements and providing insights on technical feasibility to collaborating closely with the Machine Learning team to infuse the power of AI into our product offerings.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop benchmarking systems and enhance our API’s scalability to accommodate increased traffic from new customers.
• Maintain top-tier code quality while minimizing production bugs to ensure a flawless user experience.
• Create and implement maintainable, high-performance server-side code, continuously enhancing our API technology stack.
• Actively take part in code reviews, reinforcing our commitment to clean, readable code and thorough documentation.
• Collaborate across various departments to gather insights necessary for delivering comprehensive solutions.
• Contribute to the next generation of our Cognitive Skill Builder while working alongside the Machine Learning team to integrate innovative AI features.
• Partner with the Machine Learning and Data Science teams to deliver cutting-edge AutoNLU innovations directly to Studio, empowering customers with powerful, new tools.
• Share insights and best practices in software development, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Over 5 years of experience with Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, showcasing your expertise in crafting and optimizing backend systems.
• Proficient in working with relational/SQL databases, ensuring effective data management.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including unit testing, CI/CD, integration testing, and ensuring code reliability.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and containerization tools like Docker will be advantageous.
• You possess a strong motivation to deliver exceptional results for our customers, always keeping the broader vision in mind to adeptly troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Adaptable and thriving in Agile settings, you approach projects with flexibility and enthusiasm.
