Your Role & Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a Senior Java Developer to become a vital part of our software development team tasked with enhancing our embedded banking and payments platform.

In this key position, you will be instrumental in crafting innovative technological solutions that simplify the integration of banking and payment services, making them as straightforward and flexible as any API. Our agile team is committed to delivering effective solutions promptly for our users. With our platform already in use, your expertise will be pivotal in driving numerous upcoming enhancements. By applying your skills in tackling intricate problems, you will help define the future of our platform and elevate the standards of embedded banking and payments.

About You

We are searching for an “ideal candidate,” but our hiring philosophy values potential and enthusiasm as much as specific qualifications. If you haven’t encountered every tool listed or lack experience in some areas, we encourage you to apply anyway. Your extensive Java engineering background, particularly with design patterns and frameworks like Spring, will be crucial.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Effective communicator and a cooperative team player.
• A Java expert with in-depth knowledge of technologies including the Spring framework.
• Advanced understanding of software design patterns.
• Experience with microservices architectures and associated technologies such as Micronaut (or Spring Boot), REST (both implementation and consumption), and Kafka (or similar tools like RabbitMQ).
• Bonus points for familiarity with: Micronaut, reactive programming, MongoDB, Redis, jOOQ, Flyway.
• Strong commitment to engineering best practices.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
