    We are on the lookout for a skilled Field Service Project Manager to spearhead field projects involving our European fleet of industrial steam turbines and generators. In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in promoting the project vision, while also coordinating and overseeing field operations remotely and on-site as needed.
    Your Impact

    • Act as the primary liaison for each assigned field operation project, representing Siemens Energy with professionalism and expertise.
    • Contribute to the creation of technical and commercial proposals for maintenance overhauls.
    • Negotiate with customer teams to ensure timely delivery of Extra Work Authorizations and Project Change Orders.
    • Coordinate and manage essential project components, including parts, technical field service support, tooling, procurement, shipping, and third-party services.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers by showcasing the effectiveness of your managed approach to field service projects.
    • Create and oversee project execution schedules to ensure adherence to timelines.
    • Efficiently manage field service project contracts to minimize costs while aligning margins with project goals.
    • Work remotely between various projects as needed to maintain project continuity.

    What We Are Looking For

    • A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is highly preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of field experience with European Steam Turbines is advantageous.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications.
    • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus.
    • A global mindset with the capacity to collaborate with teams across diverse cultures.
    • Self-starter with the ability to excel in a multicultural environment and demonstrate ownership of responsibilities.
    • A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive amidst competing priorities.
    • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including extended stays of 4 to 5 weeks for larger projects.
    • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Current Siemens Energy employees with visa sponsorship may qualify for internal transfers.
