At Franciscan Physician Network, we are in search of a dedicated Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to transform the lives of our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to continue the legacy of our well-established practice nestled along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan, just 60 miles southeast of Chicago.

YOUR ROLE:

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with an experienced endocrinologist, a skilled endocrinology nurse practitioner, a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator (RN-CDE), a Registered Dietician (RD), and a supportive staff of five. Together, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional patient care using state-of-the-art technology to manage type 1 diabetes, with patients coming from across Northern Indiana and Southwestern Michigan.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Flexible outpatient schedule: Monday-Friday

• Opportunity to work remotely up to 50%

• Manage an average outpatient volume of 15-20 patients daily

• Clinic-based practice with the option for inpatient consultations 1-2 times weekly at our new Franciscan Health Michigan City hospital

• Onsite support from a Certified Diabetes Educator

• Access to a Registered Dietitian onsite

• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for streamlined operations

• Common conditions treated include:

  • Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes

  • Insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)

  • Primary Hyperparathyroidism

  • Thyroid disorders (Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, nodules, and cancer)

  • Hypogonadism

  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

  • Pituitary-Adrenal Disorders
