Your Role

We are seeking a talented Trader to elevate and refine our options trading systems. In this pivotal position, you will influence the team’s strategic trajectory, challenge existing methodologies, and spearhead innovation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage risk and oversee trading activities related to the desk’s options portfolios.

• Scrutinize historical data to enhance trading strategies and pinpoint new opportunities.

• Conceive, implement, and execute lucrative positional option strategies.

• Work closely with developers and the commercial team to boost overall trading efficacy.

This role provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by playing a crucial part in both strategic decision-making and hands-on trading activities.

Who You Are

We are looking for a highly proficient options trader with a solid track record in systematic or semi-systematic trading, ideally from a top-tier market-making firm. The exceptional candidate will possess a profound understanding of the options trading landscape, a conscientious approach to risk management, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated experience in enhancing operations within a trading environment, especially in market-making or systematic strategies.

• Strong comprehension of options trading principles, including market making, positional systematic trading, and derivative strategies.

• A minimum of four years of industry experience, specifically managing a profitable options portfolio.

• Hands-on involvement in TradeFi, DeFi, and/or cryptocurrency trading is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and their structure is a plus.

• Capability to research, devise, and execute options trading models and methodologies.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, with a preference for Python; knowledge of C#, C++, Java, or Rust is also valuable.

• An entrepreneurial mindset driven by problem-solving acumen, swift decision-making capabilities, and a readiness to experiment and learn.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with diverse global teams.

• Openness to innovative strategies and new methodologies in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Fluency in English is essential.
