Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize the entire Infrastructure landscape to ensure peak performance.
• Administer the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem, focusing on provisioning, configuration, performance tracking, policy governance, and security measures.
• Architect, develop, and execute robust, highly available solutions across multiple regions within the Microsoft Azure framework.
• Evaluate current operational protocols, processes, and governance to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and implement effective changes.
• Facilitate the migration of existing infrastructure services to innovative cloud-based environments.
• Supervise security and access management for all cloud solutions.
• Establish and enforce policy-driven data protection best practices to guard against data loss in cloud deployments.
• Assist in the cloud transformation and modernization of applications throughout their adoption journeys.
• Ensure all infrastructure elements adhere to established performance and capacity benchmarks.
• Be available for on-call duties to promptly address infrastructure issues and manage technical escalations.

Required Skills:

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, focusing on design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.
• A minimum of 3 years working with IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Proficiency in designing and operating medium to large-scale enterprise infrastructure, database management, and application systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and environments.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
• Solid experience with Cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
• A well-rounded knowledge of IT skills encompassing networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling.
• A passion for learning, coupled with a desire to mentor and guide colleagues and cross-functional teams.

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years in a role as an Azure Engineer.

Educational Background:

Any graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
