As a Care Manager RN working fully remotely in the Appeals department, you will embark on a part-time journey (20 hours per week) during the day shift. Your primary role is to oversee a select group of patients throughout their admission process, ensuring that all necessary clinical and medical center resources are readily available. You will engage in daily communication with medical staff, personnel, and external resources, optimizing resource utilization according to established clinical and financial standards. Your keen observation of medical records for discrepancies is crucial, as you’ll take proactive steps to align outcomes with the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of Environmental Orientation training within 30 days of hire.
- Completion of Case Management Competency training within 90 days of hire.
- Completion of General Nurse Competency training within 30 days of hire.
- Current California Registered Nurse License at the time of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute nursing experience, with a preference for those demonstrating progressive clinical expertise or case management background.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing upon hire, with an expectation to achieve BSN within three years of employment.
- National Certified Case Manager (CCM) upon hire.
- At least 3 years of acute nursing experience, with a preference for advanced clinical experience or case management involvement.

The base pay range indicated is subject to additional compensation options, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, and bonuses.
