    Westmorland & Furness council are looking for an outstanding Commercial Lawyer to support their council, remote only!

    CASELOAD OF COMMERCIAL AND PUBLIC PROCUREMENT MATTERS INCLUDING BESPOKE FRAMEWORK AGREEMENTS SET UP BY THE COUNCIL, ADULT SOCIAL CARE, CHILDRENS CONTRACTS. ADVICE ON ADDING NEW SUPPLIERS TO FRAMEWORK; MODIFICATIONS; DIRECT AWARDS.

    CAPITAL PROGRAMME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS (NEC4).

    PUBLIC PROCUREMENT QUERIES, COMMENTING ON DECISION RECORDS/ CABINET AND COUNCIL REPORTS RE AWARD OF CONTRACTS ETC

    PREVIOUS EXTENSIVE LOCAL AUTHORITY COMMERCIAL AND PROCUREMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, IDEALLY IN A COUNTY COUNCIL / UNITARY AUTHORITY.

    AT LEAST 5 YEARS PQE.

    ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND HIT THE GROUND RUNNING
