Join our high-performing team as a Product Sales Engineer specializing in Geologic Modeling, working from the comfort of your home anywhere in the United States or Canada. We seek a passionate and driven professional to elevate the market presence of our engineering geology, hydrogeology, and geophysics brands, notably LeapFrog Works. In this dynamic role, you will spearhead innovative sales campaigns and leverage social media platforms like LinkedIn to communicate success stories, conduct discovery calls, prospect for new business, and organize engaging product demonstrations. Gain unique insights into the workflows of (hydro)geologists, geophysicists, geoscientists, and geotechnical engineers while promoting the advanced capabilities of Seequent/Bentley products.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies aimed at promoting and selling our specialized (hydro)geology, geophysics, and geotechnical software solutions.
- Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with both existing and potential clients within the engineering and construction sectors.
- Create and execute impactful Sales Campaigns and Outcome-based Live Sessions.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and technical discussions to highlight the advantages of our software solutions.
- Utilize LinkedIn and social media platforms adeptly to connect with prospects and enhance engagement.
- Assess client needs to provide customized software solutions that address their unique challenges.
- Develop a comprehensive sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue while diligently managing opportunities within our CRM.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to relay client feedback for potential product enhancements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive actions to provide valuable insights to management.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events, effectively generating leads and promoting brand visibility.
- Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets and revenue objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geosciences, or related fields; or equivalent experience in engineering or sales.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience within an engineering organization or sales of engineering software is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of geologic modeling principles and workflows, with a technical acumen for Bentley products like LeapFrog, PLAXIS, OpenGround, gINT, and GeoStudio preferred; familiarity with other software like EVS, RockWorks, Vulcan, Datamine, Micromine, Surpac, and HxGN Geology suite is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the proficiency to present information effectively.
- Ability to translate client requirements into precise software solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively in a team.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools is beneficial.
