- Guide clients through the entire loan application and closing process, compiling the necessary financial documentation.
- Independently manage negotiations and credit assessments, accurately identifying customer and transaction credit risks.
- Collaborate with the Underwriting and GGL team to facilitate the seamless progression of loan requests, ensuring compliance with all Government Guaranteed program requirements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of both SBA and USDA Standard Operating Procedures, along with the bank’s lending policies and practices.
- Work closely with other managers and bank staff, including Commercial and Business Bankers, to ensure effective teamwork and a comprehensive understanding of the Government Guaranteed Lending Line of Business.
- Establish and nurture a robust referral network with commercial real estate brokers, loan brokers, CPAs, lawyers, and others to generate new leads for Government Guaranteed loans.
- Engage directly with third-party groups (CDCs and government agencies) in your geographic area to uncover credit-enhanced loan leads.
- Once loans are completed, coordinate with relevant stakeholders for a smooth transition of client management to ongoing service teams.

- Support fellow GGL team members in addressing complex issues and facilitate satisfactory solutions.
- Exercise leadership to rectify errors and recommend changes that enhance processes and prevent future discrepancies impacting loan guarantees.
- Adhere to regulatory compliance and training relevant to your role, including Bank Secrecy Act and Customer Information Privacy guidelines.
- Maintaining integrity, discretion, and confidentiality is paramount.
Qualifications:
