As the SEO Director, you will take the helm of a dynamic team of 3+ SEO professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to shape and enhance our SEO service offerings, streamline team processes, and oversee deliverables, while also managing the team’s profit and loss (P&L) statements. You will be the voice of the SEO team during sales presentations and will provide strategic recommendations for engaging with prospective clients. This role reports directly to the Senior Director at El Toro Interactive.

Key Qualifications

SEO Savvy

• Serve as the agency’s go-to SEO expert
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of all industry changes, trends, and best practices, implementing these insights into team strategies
• Develop and oversee the SEO team’s strategic roadmap

Leadership Skills

• Documentation and Training
• Design and implement templates for SEO deliverables
• Create and refine processes alongside recommended timelines for each deliverable
• Ensure team readiness through comprehensive training on delivery execution
• Guide the onboarding of Jira and encourage team adaptation to new workflows
• Monitor hour allocation for all clients
• Regularly assess team tracking on Harvest to ensure accurate billing for clients
• Proactively address any team needs for successful outcomes
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members
• Facilitate team meetings and training sessions
• Communicate vital SEO updates and trends to the broader team during internal meetings
• Manage the team’s P&L

Sales Collaboration

• Conduct sales audits and prepare presentations
• Assist in project scoping

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $100,000. However, El Toro evaluates a variety of factors during the hiring process, including responsibilities associated with the role, experience, education, training, and specific skill sets.
