    Compensation Package:

    • Attractive Salary: PIP Functional Assessors can earn between £37,500 – £39,500 with three assessments daily, while WCA Functional Assessors can earn between £40,000 – £42,000 with a workload of five to six shorter assessments per day.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assessment Duties: Conduct both phone and face-to-face evaluations of claimants’ health and work capabilities.
    • Evidence Review: Analyze pertinent medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities to form a comprehensive picture.
    • Report Generation: Create detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) reflecting your assessments.

    Typical Tasks Include:

    • Engaging with claimants to gain insights into their health conditions and daily challenges.
    • Reviewing medical documentation and compiling thorough reports.
    • Providing informed recommendations based on comprehensive evaluations.

    Comprehensive Training Program:
    Successful applicants will undergo a detailed 12-week training program that includes:

    • Mastery of Assessment Techniques for precise evaluations.
    • In-depth understanding of DWP Guidelines to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
    • Expertise in Report Writing to produce high-quality, objective documentation.

    Candidate Profile:

    Essential Qualifications:

    • Experience: A minimum of one year of recent post-registration experience in a relevant adult health setting.
    • Registration: Must hold an active registration with NMC, GPhC, or HCPC for at least one year.
    • Skills: Strong communication abilities, effective assessment techniques, proficient typing/report-writing skills, and excellent IT capabilities are vital.
