Your Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be essential in enhancing our platform in line with evolving business and team requirements. You’ll enable efficient development, delivery, and maintenance of our music royalty processing system, ensuring that teams have what they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the complete lifecycle of our platform, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, infrastructure, and operational tasks.
• Support development teams by advancing platform and infrastructure capabilities.
• Work closely with our global IT platform and security teams to maintain high security standards.
• Develop health and cost monitoring tools, alongside automated CI/CD pipeline templates.
• Optimize performance and cost proactively.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and training for team members.

What You Bring:

• A strong programming background (preferably in Java or TypeScript).
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient architectures.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and collaborative modeling.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, including Apache Kafka.
• Experience building on AWS with automation frameworks like Pulumi, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in handling large-scale systems with significant data loads and high-throughput messaging.
• Experience in managing relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch) databases.
• Understanding of monolith-to-microservices migration strategies.
