- Identify and secure necessary IT Development resources for the successful delivery of each project.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently with efficiency and precision.
- Collaborate with all sectors of the IT delivery team to generate high-level estimates for approved initiatives.
- Proactively work with IT Delivery colleagues to keep Defaqto agile and responsive to new business opportunities.
- Oversee project closure activities thoughtfully.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the IT Delivery roadmap.
- Utilize both agile and waterfall methodologies to drive project outcomes.
- Detect, manage, and monitor risks, issues, and dependencies by formulating mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary escalation point within the project team, escalating further when warranted.
- Take ownership of establishing governance processes for your assigned projects.
- Provide ongoing updates to the IT Leadership Team about project status.
- Monitor project budgets and assist with CAPEX/OPEX reporting.
- Manage stakeholder expectations effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Control the change management process when deviations from the business case arise.
- Implement a communication strategy to ensure all business functions can support launch planning and continued maintenance.
- Foster and advocate for project management best practices throughout the organization, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
- Enthusiasm, tenacity, and the ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
- A proven background in IT project management is a must.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong skills in risk and issue identification and management.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build robust relationships, influence decisions, and achieve group consensus.
- A relentless drive for continuous enhancement of processes.
- A keen eye for identifying gaps and determining corrective actions.

What You Bring to the Table
Location: Our office is located in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. We promote a hybrid working model where you will be required to work in the office twice a week.
