Key Details:
Reports To: Clinical Supervisor or Clinic Director
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000
Unique Work Schedule: Enjoy a potential 10-month work program with summers off!
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Devoting your time entirely to delivering high-quality clinical services.
- Collaborating with adolescents and families within a school or clinical environment.
- Conducting DSM diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing recommendations and referrals while adhering to regulatory standards and clinic procedures.
- Implementing evidence-based interventions to support client recovery.
- Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team (IDT) meetings to enhance client mental health care.
- Leading group sessions designed to empower clients in managing their mental health through evidence-based methods.
- Engaging in consultations with psychiatrists and mental health specialists regarding treatment recommendations and dispositions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must possess an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT license.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct clinical service experience, ideally with a focus on co-occurring disorders.
- Strong knowledge of chemical dependency issues.
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management capabilities to ensure an efficient client flow, prompt documentation, and billing.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships with colleagues and staff.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written communication skills to maintain accurate client charts in accordance with policies.
- Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are preferred.
- Eligibility for clearance through the NYS Central Registry for Child Abuse and the NYS Justice Center is required.
