Location: Remote (Applicants must reside in the U.K. to comply with GDPR regulations)
We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced professionals to join us as a remote Additional Learning Support Coach. In this pivotal role, you will mentor and coach neuro-diverse learners, motivating and guiding them through their planned learning and development milestones on their educational journeys.
Your leadership will be essential in implementing the company’s use of Cognassist, ensuring that learners identified with learning difficulties or disabilities (LDD) receive tailored support and reasonable adjustments, empowering them to thrive. Leveraging your expertise, you will assist tutors and employers with support strategies, exam access arrangements, and differentiation, along with providing direct support to identified learners as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and engage learners to achieve their qualification goals promptly
- Deliver both group and individual coaching sessions
- Provide outstanding additional learning support as necessary
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure initial diagnostic assessments are completed
- Utilize quality improvement approved resources for impactful educational sessions
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Functional Skills – English & Maths
- Experience in delivering additional learning support
- Background in teaching Functional Skills
- Proven experience managing a diverse caseload remotely
- Flexibility and adaptability in response to change
