Within our Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore is dedicated to the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of power generation systems, enabling energy producers worldwide to deliver more reliable and economical power.
Role Overview
As an Instrumentation & Controls Technician II, you will leverage your expertise to disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, calibrate, test, and conduct regular maintenance on field instruments, equipment systems, and controls. This role involves evaluating modifications, executing complex repairs, and troubleshooting devices during both scheduled and unscheduled work.
Key Responsibilities:
Document and report any abnormal equipment functions or tolerance issues, initiating corrective actions and thorough documentation.
Maintain a detailed daily record of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and other performed tasks in line with established guidelines.
Reinstall, test, evaluate, calibrate, and maintain instruments and devices post-repair.
Engage with customer personnel regarding the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment as needed.
Carry out work following approved procedures for equipment, calibration, maintenance, and safety.
Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work on holidays, weekends, and overtime, as dictated by field requirements.
Travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications & Experience Required:
A two-year degree in a scientific discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
1-3 years of experience in instrumentation and controls, including installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of equipment or similar experience.
Possession of any necessary licenses or certifications in accordance with federal, state, or local regulations.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Solid understanding of physical standards including mass, temperature, flow, and pressure.
