As a Vendor Consultant within our Amazon Vendor Services in Romania, you will play a vital role in empowering sellers and vendors to expand their businesses online. This position is exclusively available to candidates located within Romania.
In this pivotal role, you will craft and execute strategies focused on key performance metrics for our Amazon vendors. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with leaders across Retail and Vendor Services to manage specific facets of the vendor partnership, ensuring their success on Amazon’s platforms. Your expertise will drive engagement with various internal teams, optimizing the business performance of key manufacturers.
The role involves analyzing a wealth of data to boost vendor traffic, enhance brand visibility, increase customer conversion, and drive revenue growth. You will delve into both strategic and operational elements of vendor interactions, performing root cause analyses to pinpoint issues and opportunities for improvement. Your primary focus will be on fostering strong customer relationships with our vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance team performance metrics and the overall vendor impact on customer experiences.
- Collaborate with the Retail Team to nurture vendor relationships, advocating for their needs within Amazon.
- Develop effective communication strategies, setting clear expectations and fostering growth for vendors.
- Create and implement strategic account plans that address key business opportunities and relevant KPIs.
- Work alongside internal Amazon teams and vendors to refine operational processes for optimal consumer experiences.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of vendor issues, formulating data-driven recommendations and action plans.
- Offer strategic insights on planning, development roadmaps, and execution.
- Cultivate lasting partnerships with key vendors to ensure sustained success.
- Support the rollout of new programs, categories, and features.
- Conduct regular business reviews with vendors to assess performance metrics and formulate actionable strategies.
- Analyze performance metrics, generate realistic forecasts, and adapt quickly with innovative action plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is essential.
- Proficiency in English (B2) and Italian (B2) is required.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in vendor, account, or catalog management, product management, or sales/sourcing.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer or stakeholder interactions.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Array and Statistical formulas.
- Proven ability to leverage data in decision-making.
- Exceptional business communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Quick learner with adaptability to navigate ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with macros and data analytics.
- Experience in driving process enhancements.
- Proficiency with tools like Sharepoint, SIM-ticketing, and project management software, as well as scripting experience.
