About the Role
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Brand Campaign Manager who will take the helm of GitLab’s continuous brand marketing efforts. In this pivotal position, you will have the opportunity to enhance GitLab’s brand visibility and cultivate engaging relationships with our target audience. Collaborating closely with teams throughout the organization, you will create and implement captivating content and campaigns that resonate and leave a lasting impression.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the brand marketing program, focusing on increasing brand awareness and consideration among key audiences.
- Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies to engage and connect with new demographics.
- Craft and implement multi-channel media plans that guide prospects from initial awareness to consideration, in partnership with the Digital Marketing team.
- Formulate strategies to amplify major events and product launches through digital and out-of-home media channels.
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with media partners and vendors, negotiating contracts and assessing new opportunities.
- Execute and oversee marketing campaigns across various digital platforms including programmatic, native, paid social, CTV, and out-of-home.
- Enhance campaign performance by implementing A/B testing, ongoing performance analysis, and thorough measurement and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to create a seamless transition from brand awareness to demand through targeted messaging and retargeting efforts.
- Contribute to our transparent culture by maintaining detailed documentation within the company handbook.
What You Bring to the Table
- Over 7 years of experience in digital marketing with a successful track record in B2B brand promotion.
- Hands-on expertise in media buying and management across various channels, including direct purchases, programmatic media, and social platforms.
- Strong background in A/B testing, campaign design, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms such as GA and Tableau.
- Experience in data-driven environments to assess and evaluate marketing effectiveness.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration that connects brand initiatives to demand generation efforts.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- A genuine passion for staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media buying.
- Adeptness at understanding the needs of software development leaders.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication capabilities.
- An acute attention to detail.

The base salary range for this position is specific to residents of certain locations. Salary levels are determined through a combination of interviews, assessment of your education and experience, and consideration of equity with existing team members, informed by market data. $94,100-$201,600 USD
