In the R&D Consulting division at Veeva, we marry strategic insight with operational excellence, driven by data and technology. Establishing a distinguished R&D consulting practice is a strategic priority for us, offering high visibility within the organization and to leaders across the Life Sciences space.

As a Principal, you will play a vital role in expanding our practice in Europe, concentrating on brand development, cultivating a robust customer network, and securing new projects that assist clients in overcoming intricate business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead business development initiatives by identifying and generating new project opportunities; clarify client challenges and needs; craft compelling and distinctive proposals to address these issues and secure new contracts.
• Leverage your professional network to identify new business opportunities and forge lasting relationships.
• Serve as the R&D consulting lead for one of our premier enterprise accounts.
• Establish strong, trustworthy relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact for both strategic and tactical inquiries.
• Support the development of innovative campaigns, offerings, and thought leadership that differentiate our R&D consulting services in the marketplace.
• Lead various project engagement teams, empowering your team to plan, execute, and manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring quality assurance throughout.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of substantial management and R&D consulting experience.
• Expertise in the Life Sciences field, particularly in Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Information Management.
• A broad network of influential stakeholders within the top 20 Life Sciences companies.
• Proven credibility and experience engaging with senior-level leaders in key Life Sciences organizations.
• A successful track record of creating impactful, high-value customer engagements.
• Experience in designing and implementing programs focused on digital transformation and R&D innovation/improvement.
• Comprehensive understanding of the entire R&D value chain.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in multiple European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish), in addition to English.
• Familiarity with digital technologies including platforms, channels, analytics tools, apps, and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of Veeva’s extensive range of platforms and solutions, along with how they can be leveraged and enhanced through R&D consulting services.
• Experience with SaaS solutions.
• Veeva certification in relevant R&D products.
