    Occasional on-site presence will be required at our Dublin, Belfast, or UK office.

    We are on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Team Lead for our Data and Analytics division, who possesses deep expertise in the Microsoft Data and Analytics ecosystem. This role is crucial as we aim to evolve and expand our Microsoft Data and Business Intelligence offerings within the broader Ergo Digital Practice.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the Digital Practice Lead to develop future project pipelines for the data practice.
    • Engage with clients to comprehend their data needs, guiding them in establishing an insightful data platform for actionable insights.
    • Actively support sales and presales efforts to achieve business objectives.
    • Oversee resource utilization and spearhead hiring initiatives for new team members.
    • Ensure successful project outcomes through architectural quality assurance and effective delivery management.
    • Provide technical mentorship to engineers within the practice.
    • Contribute to the professional development of staff in collaboration with the company’s management team.
    • Strategize on key services and technologies that will enhance the practice’s growth trajectory.
    • Facilitate effective collaboration between the data team and the broader Ergo Digital team.
    • Strengthen partnerships with Microsoft to elevate Ergo’s presence in Data consulting.

    Qualifications and Skills Required

    • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Platform, including Azure Data Services, the Microsoft Data and Analytics cloud stack, and Microsoft BI technologies.
    • Experience in pre-sales functions including proposal creation, tender submissions, Statements of Work (SOW), and delivering impactful sales presentations.
    • Thorough understanding of standard ETL processes and best practices for data security roles and access management.
    • Ability to lead workshops on data analytics and engineering with senior stakeholders as a subject matter expert.
    • Familiarity with both traditional and modern data platform architecture designs.
    • Hands-on experience with on-premises SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI.
    • Insight into the critical role of security in designing and defining data solutions.
    • Proficiency in creating various forms of documentation, including business-focused and project-specific materials.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior data role.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Relevant Microsoft data and/or BI certifications.
    • Experience with DevOps practices.
    • Familiarity with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite.
    • Experience with the Microsoft O365 suite.
