    The Role

    This is a hybrid position that combines remote working with on-site responsibilities in the Cardiff area.

    Who Are We Looking For?

    We seek seasoned project management professionals, ideally with experience in Data Centers, either on the developer or end-customer side. If you have experience as a General Contractor, we welcome your application as well! Don’t hesitate to apply even if you meet only some of these qualifications—you might be just what we need!

    Key Responsibilities

    • Elevate Client Services: Provide pioneering project and cost management services utilizing advanced digital tools.
    • Comprehensive Project Oversight: Manage all stages of the project lifecycle from Stages 2-6, adhering to regional stage gate processes.
    • Craft Detailed Execution Plans: Develop project execution plans tailored to the specific stage and design maturity.
    • Champion Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with commercial managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to an exceptional quality standard.
    • Innovate Diligently: Introduce fresh ideas and processes that surpass industry benchmarks.
    • Lead Digital Transformation: Propel the integration of project management through Laminar’s advanced project controls methodology.
    • Think Beyond Traditional Tools: A desire for a digitally-enhanced approach is crucial; you don’t need to be a data expert!

    Ideal Experience in Data Centers (Preferred)

    While experience in data center projects, knowledge of local regulations, and proven capabilities in project strategies, negotiations, and stakeholder management are highly valued, they are not mandatory.

    Regional Focus

    Fluency in the local language is desirable, along with an understanding of local regulatory frameworks.

    Your Responsibilities Include:

    • Facilitating contractor pre-qualification, managing bid processes, and providing recommendations
    • Supporting contract negotiations, including General Contractor business terms
    • Coordinating design team activities effectively
    • Managing approvals, permits, and constructability reviews
    • Collecting and sharing cost estimates, along with generating cash flow projections
    • Overseeing vendor management, budget control, and scheduling
    • Assisting with document control and quality assurance/quality control processes

    Your Team

    This role is part of our Project Management Consultancy with a focus on identifying project challenges, implementing effective solutions, and developing best practices, tools, and technologies.

    • Develop Scalable Solutions: Work collaboratively to create best practices and tools.
    • Invest in Development: Focus on the growth of yourself, your team, and clients.

    Required Qualifications

    Applicants should possess extensive experience in construction project management, strong client interaction skills, and demonstrated leadership capabilities. Additional training in data analytics, project planning software, and leadership will be provided as necessary.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • 8+ years of relevant project experience, including involvement in claims
    • Strong English proficiency
    • A proven track record of leadership and impactful contributions

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Excel, a keen interest in data, and experience in project planning
    • Charisma and influence in construction settings
    • Leadership capabilities in team development and creating scalable solutions
