We’re in search of an experienced Senior Security Software Developer who is passionate about protecting our business by identifying vulnerabilities, designing robust security measures, and collaborating with multifaceted teams to combat skilled reverse engineering threats.
As a pivotal member of our fraud site defense team, you will play a crucial role in our ongoing security initiatives.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond identifying advanced hackers and reverse engineers; you’ll also take charge of evolving the security framework for our web client and companion application.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for architecting state-of-the-art anti-tamper and anti-cheat solutions for our website, coordinating with companion apps to implement additional security protocols, all while ensuring data integrity and pioneering client hardening techniques.
Your technical prowess and history of leading security projects, in addition to mentoring junior staff, will be instrumental in cultivating a proactive security environment.
What we’re looking for:
- A proven background in securing web client platforms through advanced threat modeling and developing intricate anti-cheat strategies.
- Strong skills in low-level systems programming, backed by a deep understanding of virtualization and bytecode interpretation.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for browser applications, combined with a solid grasp of WebAssembly for high-performance, secure web solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting, implementing, and enhancing cutting-edge anti-tamper and defensive systems.
- A solid foundation in cryptography, encompassing encryption algorithms, hashing techniques, and secure key management processes.
- A relentless passion for discovering vulnerabilities and keeping ahead of potential threats.
- A creative mindset when tackling security challenges, with an unwavering commitment to staying on top of evolving threat landscapes.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor security engineering teams, championing best practices and ensuring a culture of knowledge sharing.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading efforts to discover, analyze, and reverse engineer complex exploits, vulnerabilities, and cheating mechanisms, while developing and executing strategic counteractions.
- Designing and implementing scalable, advanced anti-tamper and anti-cheat solutions for mobile applications in compliance with top-tier security standards.
- Creating and executing sophisticated anti-tamper and anti-cheat protocols across the Company’s website.
- Crafting and enforcing strategies to ensure data integrity, safeguarding against spoofing and tampering.
- Working collaboratively with software development, information security, and infrastructure teams to embed robust security features, setting the standard for secure development practices.
- Innovating new methods such as memory protection and code obfuscation to proactively address potential exploits.
- Continuously monitoring emerging threats and hacker techniques to refine and enhance security strategies.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and security engineers, fostering a culture of continuous growth and proactive threat defense.
- Evaluating emerging threat vectors and hacker tactics, subsequently updating security strategies and policies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Leading the development and upkeep of advanced tools and scripts for real-time detection, threat analysis, and swift incident response.
