Your Role as Senior Microsoft SQL Developer:
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Microsoft SQL Developer to collaborate with our Chief Data Architect (an ex-Microsoft professional) and Head of Development. You will play a key role in enhancing and sustaining our existing and upcoming data-centric financial technology solutions.
This position is fully remote within the fintech sector.
What You Bring:
- Expertise in designing and building high-performance, high-volume database architectures
- Advanced TSQL skills, including proficiency in Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, and UDFs
- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Internal Architecture, encompassing Metadata, Indexes, and Statistics
- Proficiency in performance tuning, including optimization techniques, refactoring existing SQL, and managing high-availability clusters while patching live systems
- Experience with SQL CLR, SSRS, and Power BI
- Strong communication skills as a vital member of our growing team
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with SQL CLR
- Knowledge of SSRS
- Proficiency in Power BI/SQL Reporting
- Familiarity with Power BI and on-premises SSAS integration
- Experience in hybrid/full migration from on-premises SQL to Azure
