Your Role as Senior Microsoft SQL Developer:

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Microsoft SQL Developer to collaborate with our Chief Data Architect (an ex-Microsoft professional) and Head of Development. You will play a key role in enhancing and sustaining our existing and upcoming data-centric financial technology solutions.

This position is fully remote within the fintech sector.

What You Bring:

1. Expertise in designing and building high-performance, high-volume database architectures
2. Advanced TSQL skills, including proficiency in Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, and UDFs
3. Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Internal Architecture, encompassing Metadata, Indexes, and Statistics
4. Proficiency in performance tuning, including optimization techniques, refactoring existing SQL, and managing high-availability clusters while patching live systems
5. Experience with SQL CLR, SSRS, and Power BI
6. Strong communication skills as a vital member of our growing team

Preferred Additional Skills:

1. Experience with SQL CLR
2. Knowledge of SSRS
3. Proficiency in Power BI/SQL Reporting
4. Familiarity with Power BI and on-premises SSAS integration
5. Experience in hybrid/full migration from on-premises SQL to Azure
