    Job Summary

    As a key contributor to our training initiatives, you will play an essential role in assessing training needs and addressing challenges within our organization. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a variety of training programs that align with our business goals. In addition, you will lead specialized training sessions tailored to specific employee groups.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out comprehensive job-task analyses and needs assessments to pinpoint learning objectives and craft effective training solutions, encompassing performance enhancement strategies such as management support, incentive structures, role clarity, and job aids.

    • Engage with managers and team members to establish individualized training goals, overarching program objectives, and specific module aims, ensuring the training provided effectively enhances the capability of employees in their roles.

    • Employ instructional design principles to curate engaging course content, collaborating with subject matter experts, management, trainers, and technical writers. You will have the opportunity to create new training programs from the ground up, beginning with a thorough analysis of training requirements.

    • Utilize adult learning principles to identify the most effective training mediums and methodologies tailored to diverse learning styles and the complexity of course content, impacting expected business outcomes. Your training design may include formats such as traditional classrooms, online classrooms, self-paced e-learning modules, or a hybrid of these approaches, encompassing techniques like group lectures, role play, simulations, self-study, on-the-job training, and computer-based training.

    • Research, select, and adapt existing training materials and resources to fit the learning needs of our employees.

    • Analyze training program evaluations, test results, operational metrics, and gather feedback from participants and managers to propose enhancements for program effectiveness.

    • Devise evaluation strategies and tools that measure whether training objectives and desired performance outcomes are being met.

    • Collaborate with fellow team members, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of content that meets training objectives.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    A bachelor’s degree is required, along with relevant certifications and practical experience in a related field.

    Experience and Skills:

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in training, education, development, design, training technology, or a comparable field.

    • Strong proficiency in course development software and authoring tools to create advanced instructor-led and online learning materials that include multimedia and interactive elements.

    • Demonstrable experience in preparing e-learning courses within a Learning Management System, with the ability to write effective training notes and instructional content, including scripts for audio and video.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    A master’s degree is considered an asset.

    Additional Preferences:

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with course development software and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, or DominKnow.

    • Direct experience with Learning Management System software is a plus.

    Salary Range: $77,969 – $128,519 / ANNUAL

    Your actual compensation may differ from the posting depending on your geographic location, work experience, education, and skill set.
