• Work alongside platform leadership to influence technical decisions and successfully drive strategic initiatives.
• Enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and software systems in hybrid environments.
• Support and optimize existing Windows and Linux platforms, ensuring top-notch operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to envision, develop, and launch new features and platform capabilities.
• Automate deployment processes, testing, and infrastructure provisioning by leveraging infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
• Craft resilient, high-availability architectures tailored to evolving business demands.
• Effectively communicate project milestones and updates, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned with timelines.

Your Expertise:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS). Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning and management is essential.
• Skilled in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python, with a proven ability to automate intricate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Octopus; previous implementation of infrastructure-as-code best practices is advantageous.
• Proficient in both Windows and Linux server environments, with expertise in configuration, administration, and optimization.
• Solid grounding in Active Directory administration and integration within enterprises.
• Experience with network storage technologies, including NetApp and Amazon S3; adept at managing and optimizing large-scale storage solutions.
• Skilled in virtualization platforms like Hyper-V, XEN, and VMware for deploying and managing virtualized environments.
• Experience in provisioning infrastructure with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, applying infrastructure-as-code principles effectively.
• Hands-on experience with data store and secrets management solutions, ensuring secure operations using tools like HashiCorp Vault and Consul.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, facilitating smooth system integration and automation.
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, focusing on observability, automation, and reliability to maintain system health and operational excellence.
