Principal UX Designer – Spain, UK (Remote)

    Location:

    Barcelona, B, ES, 08019 London, GB, ECR4R 1 BR

    Company: Cimpress Technology

    About Our Team

At Cimpress, our diverse array of businesses, alongside various in-house and third-party vendors (fulfillers), create personalized products that leave a lasting impression on our clients, encompassing small and medium enterprises, individual consumers, and resellers alike. In addressing the demand for unique, customized goods, we encounter fulfillment challenges that are distinct from typical eCommerce operations. Our focus is on delivering tailor-made products that meet individual customer specifications—punctually and cost-effectively.

The Fulfillment Domain, part of Cimpress Technology, empowers fulfillers to oversee the production and delivery of an extensive range of nearly flawless, mass-customized offerings. We achieve this through bespoke manufacturing systems integrated with our in-house logistics and shipping frameworks, delivering value throughout the fulfillment process for both our businesses and their clientele.

As we embark on an exciting journey to redefine the Fulfillment Capability sphere, we are seeking a seasoned UX Designer well-versed in B2B manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics to collaborate with our product teams at Cimpress Technology, shaping the future of mass customization fulfillment.

In the role of Principal UX Designer within the Fulfillment space, you will spearhead the Fulfillment UX Design team and take the reins on design strategies, frameworks, and user experiences tailored for our customers and a broad spectrum of Fulfillment software users.

    Your Responsibilities

Lead UX Research & Strategy – Develop a robust design strategy aimed at addressing intricate, cross-team, and multidisciplinary challenges. Conduct research to create data-informed personas, user flows, and scenarios that enhance user experience.

Define & Execute Vision – Provide strong leadership and hands-on design execution to drive a forward-thinking strategy and vision for Fulfillment products. Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to construct user-centered solutions.

Champion the User – Employ human-centered design principles to engineer seamless, intuitive, and accessible digital experiences for a diverse user base, applying inclusive design standards across all groups.

Deliver Design Impact – Work alongside peers and leaders to foster cross-functional alignment, encourage creativity and innovation, and challenge established norms. Engage with tools like Figma, prototyping from Whiteboards, Wireframes, UI Drafts, and UI Sketches, in synergy with product teams, while transforming data into compelling visualizations and interactive components.

Mentor & Develop the UX Team – Guide and mentor Product Designers, tackling design challenges through consistent engagement. Cultivate and expand a design team focused on optimizing, conceptualizing, and delivering innovative product design solutions.

Scale the Culture – Collaborate with the Design Guild to solidify best practices, document and advocate design processes, ensuring alignment with emerging industry trends.
