    OVERVIEW

    As a vital member of our team, the Legal QA Specialist plays a key role in overseeing the medical file review process. This position involves a thorough evaluation of completed referrals to ensure that client inquiries have been adequately addressed while also verifying the accuracy of reports.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Quality Assurance

    • Examine reports accompanied by medical records to confirm completeness and that all client questions have been satisfactorily answered.
    • Engage with reviewers to clarify any outstanding questions or seek additional information.
    • Maintain proactive communication with clients to address any follow-up inquiries.
    • Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of referrals.
    • Ensure all reports possess correct grammar and are free from spelling mistakes.
    • Verify that each referral meets the QA checklist criteria prior to its completion.
    • Format reports for final approval.

    Effective Communication

    • Facilitate clear communication among clients, reviewers, and the Operations team.
    • Confidently discuss peer review content with physicians and clients.

    In addition, you may be assigned various duties or special projects based on the organization’s needs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

    Preferred candidates will hold an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.

    RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

    • Background in the automotive sector
    • Experience as a paralegal
    • Familiarity with 18.001 counter affidavits
    • Experience with Tier 1 carriers
    • A passion for reading and proofreading
    • Strong legal acumen
    • Comfortable with repetitive legal tasks requiring exceptional quality assurance

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

    Possess outstanding communication abilities underpinning a solid understanding of our business lines. Demonstrate critical thinking, efficient time management, and the capacity to meet deadlines. Proficiency in computer use and swift typing skills are essential.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Includes basic physical requirements such as lifting, bending, and necessary travel to fulfill job responsibilities. Prolonged periods of sitting and computer usage are expected.

    REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS:

    Candidates must supply and support their own internet services, ensuring an uninterrupted connection is maintained, as this is crucial for all remote positions.
