    Job Summary:
    Join a dynamic interdisciplinary team as a Psychiatric Social Worker, where you’ll play a crucial role in providing top-tier mental health support through direct assessment, accurate diagnosis formulation, comprehensive treatment planning, and effective psycho-education for our members and their families.     Essential Responsibilities:

    • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct timely and appropriate assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to individual member needs.
    • Treatment Selection: Skillfully choose the most effective treatment modalities for each unique presenting problem.
    • Communication: Present clinical information clearly to members and collaborate effectively with clinical staff.
    • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of internal and external patient satisfaction through personalized care.
    • Documentations: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical encounters in member charts.
    • Resource Knowledge: Leverage knowledge of KP and community resources to benefit member care.
    • Regulation Adherence: Strictly follow all mandated guidelines relating to clinical care and licensing requirements while maintaining your professional licensure.
    • Initial Interviews: Formulate professional interpretations during initial interviews to understand members’ psychological and social concerns while assessing urgency.
    • Therapeutic Action: Recommend and initiate appropriate courses of therapeutic action for both crisis intervention and ongoing therapy for individuals across all age spectrums.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Keep thorough records of therapy sessions and actively engage with relevant social entities, schools, and families to gather pertinent information.
    • Clinical Consultation: Offer insightful clinical consultation within an integrated healthcare setting, addressing family dynamics, sociocultural factors, and community resources.
    • Telehealth Services: Provide telephone assessments, counseling, resource information, and referrals.
    • Developmental Care: Demonstrate expertise in addressing the needs across developmental stages with proficiency in individual, group, family, and child therapy.
    • Compliance: Adhere to all organizational, departmental, and regulatory standards while actively participating in Quality Management and Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Experience:

    • Two (2) years of postgraduate mental health therapy experience within the last five (5) years is essential.

    Education:

    • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related behavioral health field is required.

    License, Certification, Registration:

    • Must hold one of the following licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California).
    • National Provider Identifier is required.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Proficiency in utilizing the current DSM nomenclature is required.
    • A consistent demonstration of knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors that provide top-quality and culturally sensitive service to members, customers, contracted providers, and vendors.
