UNC Physician’s Network is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Eligible Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to deliver per diem virtual teleacute services to a diverse array of patients across multiple UNC Health community hospital facilities. In this position, you will engage with patients through both synchronous and asynchronous consultations.

Position Highlights:

• Enjoy a remote work environment that promotes work/life balance—no commuting required!
• Flexible scheduling with variable shifts available during our Hours of Operation, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Conduct virtual consultations for hospitalized patients aged 18 and older.
• Provide top-notch care to adult patients requiring medical services.
• Candidates must be based in North Carolina.
• No on-call duties expected.
• Work with the EPIC electronic medical record system.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Infectious Disease.
• Experience in telemedicine is advantageous but not mandatory.
• An adaptable mindset with a willingness to embrace change.
• A passion for innovating new methods for delivering exceptional care.
