    About the Role

    Latinos for Education is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Manager of Regional Programs to support our programming work in the Massachusetts region. This individual will support the implementation of our fellowship programs and alumni engagement strategies to support and activate our network of Latino educators and leaders in the region.

    Responsibilities

    Program Recruitment and Selection

    • In collaboration with Director, Programs & Partnerships, drive targeted outreach strategies to attract a diverse pool of potential program participants for our Familias Latinas por La Educacíon (FLE) fellowship within the Massachusetts region
    • Execute the application process, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for applicants
    • Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and local stakeholders to expand our network and enhance recruitment efforts
    • Work closely with key stakeholders to implement selection criteria that align with program goals and values
    • Collaborate with Program team members to establish a holistic approach to participant selection
    • Use feedback to refine strategies and improve the overall participant experience

    Program Development

    • Collaborate with Program team to drive and execute the pilot phase and implementation of our Familias Latinas por La Educacíon (FLE) fellowship in Massachusetts
    • Develop and maintain an annual FLE budget
    • Contribute to reporting responsibilities for funded programming
    • Ensure an ongoing process of data synthesis of FLE for grant deliverables and goals

    Program Facilitation and Implementation

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for fellows through the onboarding and matriculation process for our Familias Latinas por La Educacíon (FLE) fellowship
    • Participate in, facilitate and assist with the coordination of all FLE sessions
    • Coordinate with regional and national Program teams in the support and execution of regional program implementation
    • Facilitate targeted learning sessions for fellows and alumni to foster a dynamic and enriching environment
    • Facilitate and contribute to the ongoing enhancement and evolution of regional programs by actively participating in the iterative refinement of curriculum and instructional strategies
    • Support the collection, analysis, and evaluation of data to successfully identify trends, patterns, and key insights

    Program Logistics and Communication

    • Serve as a point of contact for program-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to participants and stakeholders
    • Collaborate with Program and regional team to plan and organize fellowship sessions, ensuring alignment with fellowship objectives
    • Coordinate logistics for program venues, including space setup, audiovisual equipment, and any additional requirements
    • Work closely with speakers, facilitators, and vendors to confirm session details and logistics, ensuring a smooth and engaging program

    General Management

    • Manage key information systems for engagement and tracking purposes, including maintaining relationship data in Salesforce for regional stakeholders (fellows, alumni, organizational partners)
    • Track project plans for all stages of program development and implementation
    • Maintain current and accurate data on engagement by FLE fellows and alums
    • Participate in national and regional team meetings and retreats and actively contribute to a positive team culture grounded in our organizational core values

    Requirements

    The successful candidate will be highly organized, have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong local network, and operate with a sense of urgency. Specific requirements include:

    • Based in Massachusetts with the ability to frequent Boston
    • 2+ years of general professional experience
    • Fluent Spanish speaker (with the ability to facilitate sessions in both English and Spanish)
    • Access to a personal vehicle to travel to program sites within Massachusetts region
    • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence others to action in support of a mission
    • Understanding of local context and Latino education landscape in Massachusetts
    • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • High level organizational skills with demonstrated experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously

    Compensation & Benefits

    Latinos for Education offers competitive industry rate salary bands to retain and grow talented individuals. We conduct a robust internal and external benchmarking process to ensure that our salaries are competitive. The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience and is as follows:

    • Compensation Band: $63,750 – $86,250
    • Mid-Point: $75,000

    The compensation band midpoint represents the market rate for a position, and a candidate that fully meets the qualifications and experience required for the role will generally be paid at this level. An offer made to a candidate that is above the midpoint would represent someone who is extraordinarily qualified.
